Delete your account

You can delete your Fantastic Chess account and its data at any time. There are two ways to do it.

1. In the app — fastest

1. Open Fantastic Chess and sign in.
2. Go to Account settings.
3. Tap Delete account.
4. Confirm. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

You don't need to contact us, and you don't need to wait for a reply.

2. By email — if you can't sign in

Email privacy@fantasticchess.com from the address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". Include your username or display name so we can find it.

We'll confirm your identity, delete the account, and reply to confirm — within 30 days, and usually much sooner. We may ask one or two questions to be sure we're deleting the right account; that protects you from someone else deleting it.

What gets deleted

• Your account and sign-in details
• Your username, display name and email address
• Your cards, gems, coins and hands
• Your ratings, trophies, win/loss record and campaign progress
• Your archived games and replays
• Analytics and crash data associated with your account

What is kept, and why

• Purchase and tax records — we are legally required to keep records of transactions, currently for seven years under Dutch tax law. These are financial records, not gameplay data, and are not used for anything else.
• Other players' game histories — if you played online matches, those players keep their own record of the games they played against you, which includes the display name you were using at the time. That record belongs to them and we can't erase it. Nothing else about you remains in it.
